The Waystar RTE Payer Outage dashboard provides visibility into real-time eligibility transaction disruption patterns observed by Waystar. Outages and intermittent issues are identified based on elevated transaction failure rates over defined time windows and may be caused by a range of factors, including payer system behavior, connectivity conditions, or integration-related issues. This dashboard is intended to support awareness and impact assessment, but does not represent payer-confirmed outages.

Outage Categories:

• Major Payer Outages: Eligibility responses (271) from this payer are failing across routes at a major-to-complete rate (≥80% failed in the last detection window).
• Intermittent Payer Outages: Partial degradation - some inquiries succeed, but a significant number fail or time out.
• Resolved Outages: Archives payer outages that have finished.

Outage Fields:

• Outage Severity: The incident classification for this row: Full (no successful responses), High (mostly failing), or Intermittent (partial failure).
• Payer: The payer associated with the eligibility checks.
• Payer Fail Rate: Share of eligibility checks that failed in the most recent 15-minute detection window = failed checks / total checks.
• Outage Message: A brief description of the issue and impact.
• Outage Start Date: Timestamp when this incident first crossed the detection threshold and began.
• Last Update: The most recent timestamp when new data was applied to the payer outage.

Things To Know:

• Auto-refresh every 15 minutes; timestamps use your local time zone.
• Detection uses a rolling window against baseline traffic.
• Multiple failing routes for the same payer are grouped into one incident.
